These three parameters determine the activity of our company’s Supply Management in general, and in particular the work of the two departments Strategic Purchasing and Merchandise Planning.
At Gebr. Tuxhorn quality and customer satisfaction have highest priority and therefore all our teams work for reaching these aims and for finding potential for constant improvement. Likewise acts the Supply Management which is responsible for purchasing all durable and non-durable goods and placing them at the production’s disposal.
According to our own standards we also require high quality form our suppliers and we do control the compliance of quality standards continuously. At the same time we take for granted the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001. In addition to quality, product know-how, production technology and efficiency are key factors for our suplliers’ assessment.
Flexibility is one of the USPs that we can offer our clients as a medium-sized business. And we expect exactly the same flexibility from our suppliers and consider it to be a kind of reliability.
The relationship with our suppliers is very important for us, it is geared towards a long-term business and we aim to work in partnership. Therefore, on the one hand we always aim to improve existent products in cooperation with our supplier, and on the other hand we strive to discover innovations with them. |
